The garden is doing so many wonderful things. Its all so very very exciting. Here are some things that got me dancing this week:
I got these seeds from a special aunty. It looks like an apple right? Its a cucumber. A lemon cucumber. Simply gorgeous |
Ginger. Yes. I grew ginger. Look at how beautiful these rhizomes are. So soft and the flavor is insane. It will be so hard to go back to buying the shriveled stuff from the markets. |
There are some more interesting things happening in the garden and there just might be a giveaway pretty soon...
Enjoy!!!
I'm so inspired and can't wait to try gardening which i love

Aww. The right sized containers if you are opting for container gardening are very important. If you start in small containers, the seedlings will need to be transplanted into bigger containers or into the ground at a certain point. Its all a learning process :-)
DeleteThank you Uzo. Please any idea how much the bigger sized containers go for? The type I can conveniently plant and harvest my veggies I mentioned earlier in. Thank you once again. :*
DeleteHi. What plants are you trying to put in containers o I know what size to recommend?
DeleteHello ma'am. Mostly edible veggies. I currently have these seeds: lettuce, parsley, garlic chives and kale. I desire to also buy these seeds: beetroot, basil...in short as much seeds as I see in Shoprite. :D
DeleteThank you so much for your help!
Your herbs - the parsley and garlic chives can thrive in small pots. At least 5 inches in diameter. Lettuce and kale need the medium sized pots ideally....Cost of these pots depends on the kinds and where you get them from. I use decorative pots for my flowers which are higher in price than the plain plastic terra cotta ones found around town
DeleteLove ur programme. Can't wait to try out the lemonade
